For the last several years, everyone knows the name of Suzuki in the scooter market in India. This maxi-scooter is attracting everyone’s attention due to its new style and great features.

When I saw its new colors and designs, my heart was filled with joy. If you’re fond of scooters or want to try something new, this information is for you. Let’s know what is special about the Burgman 400 this time and why it can be the right choice for you.

Suzuki Burgman 400 is made for those who want to enjoy comfort, style and performance – all three at the same time. Whether you need a scooter for city riding or long distances, this scooter performs well on every occasion. So, let’s know its features one by one.

2025 Suzuki Burgman 400 New Look and Information

This time, Suzuki has made the Burgman 400 even more attractive with new colour options. The 2025 model comes in three amazing colours. The most special thing is its golden wheels, which give this scooter a premium and sporty look. I saw the blue colour myself and believe me, it looks different and stylish on the road.

Talking about the design, the overall look of the scooter remains the same as before, but the classic maxi-scooter look is still loved by people. The large windscreen, wide seat and smooth body design make this scooter perfect for long rides.

Powerful engine and great performance

The 2025 Burgman 400 is powered by the same 400cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30 horsepower and 36 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a CVT transmission, which makes the riding experience even smoother. Whether you are stuck in city traffic or cruising merrily on the highway, this scooter rides great everywhere.

Talking about mileage, the company claims that this scooter can give 28 to 30 kilometers per liter, which is good for a scooter of this size. Apart from this, a traction control system has also been provided, which keeps the ride safe even on slippery roads. For me, this feature is very useful because safety is always the most important.

Premium Features

Suzuki Burgman 400 not only looks great, but it also has many features that make it a premium scooter. You get a large under-seat storage – 42 liters of space, which can easily accommodate a full-face helmet and a lot of luggage. Talking about lights, it has an LED headlamp and taillamp, which not only look good but also provide better lighting at night.

For display, it has an LCD screen with twin analog meters, in which speed, mileage and other important information are clearly visible. No stone has been left unturned in the braking system as well – 260mm disc brakes have been provided in the front and 210mm disc brakes in the rear with dual-channel ABS, which makes braking quite safe. One of my friends told me that it has so much space that he can easily carry his weekend trip luggage.

Price and availability

Now let’s talk about the price. In Europe, the price of this scooter is around £7,199 i.e., around Rs 7.5 lakh. Due to the new colors, the price may be slightly higher. There is no confirmed information about its launch in India yet. Currently, Suzuki India is focusing more on its small scooters like the Burgman Street 125. If this scooter comes to India, its price can be between Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh.

If you are thinking of buying it and are in Europe, then this scooter will be available in dealerships soon. There is little hope of its launch in India, but we will keep an eye on the updates.

Chances of the Burgman 400 in India

The maxi-scooter market in India is not very big yet, but seeing the popularity of scooters like Yamaha Aerox 155, it seems that there can be a place for the Burgman 400 as well. This scooter is especially for those who want bike-like performance and a scooter-like, comfortable ride. Yes, its price and maintenance cost may be a bit difficult for middle-class buyers.

In my opinion, if Suzuki launches it in India, it should specifically market it towards young professionals and touring enthusiasts. What do you think? Will the Burgman 400 work in India?

The 2025 Suzuki Burgman 400 has made a strong entry in the maxi-scooter segment with its new colors, powerful engine and premium features. Its stylish design, large storage and smooth performance make it an excellent option for both city and highway.

Although there is still uncertainty about the launch in India, this scooter is making a lot of noise in the international market. If you are thinking of buying a good scooter, then definitely take a look at the Burgman 400.
