Maruti Suzuki has made its popular SUV Fronx even safer. Now this car will get 6 airbags as standard in all variants . The new prices of Maruti Fronx now start from Rs 7 lakh 59 thousand. The price of the most expensive model goes up to Rs 12 lakh 95 thousand. All these prices are ex-showroom.
Till now, the option of 6 airbags was available only in the top three models of Fords – Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. This facility was not available in the rest of the models. Now the company is considering including this feature in more models. But now this safety feature will be available in the base model Sigma and Delta variants as well.
Apart from this, advanced safety features like ESC (Electronic Stability Control) and Hill-Hold Assist have also been provided as standard in the Fronx. 3-point seatbelts (with seatbelt reminder) for all passengers, ISOFIX child seat mounts and excellent build quality make it safer than ever. Yes, reverse parking camera still starts from the Zeta variant.
No change in engine options Maruti Fronx
The Fronx still gets two engine options – the first is a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 90hp of power and 113Nm of torque. The second option is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 100hp of power and 147Nm of torque.
The 1.2-liter engine has the option of a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox, while the turbo engine gets a torque converter as an automatic transmission . The company is also offering factory-fitted CNG kits in the Sigma and Delta variants.
All Maruti cars will come with 6 airbags
The front has now been updated with six airbags. Still, the price has increased by just Rs 4,000, which is quite affordable. However, the prices of the Delta+ petrol variants have remained the same as before.
By March 2025, all Maruti cars will have 6 airbags as standard. Bhargava had announced in April this year that his company will install six airbags in every car before the end of 2025 to further improve safety.
Currently, only the Ignis in the Nexa lineup and the S-Presso in the Arena lineup are the vehicles that do not have 6 airbags yet. But it is expected that this update will soon come to those models as well.
Now Maruti Fronx is not only stylish but has also become a smart choice in terms of safety.
